Ever wonder why they call it Groundhog Day? Me too. I think I'll look it up and get back with you.
Well, I'm back. Here's what I learned.
Groundhog Day began back in 1841. A German shop keeper in Pennsylvania said if the Groundhog or Wood Chuck came out of his hibernation and saw his shadow, there would be six more weeks of winter and if he did not see his shadow then spring was just around the corner.
Yesterday, I mentioned we had birthdays. I will become a new Great Aunt also this month. Any day now in fact.
